    It's located in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria (Germany). It's 30 min away from Nuernberg - one of Germany's most beautiful cities which has huge international community with people from all over the world – you will love it! 

  • WHAT IS PUMA LOOKING FOR IN CANDIDATES?

  • WHAT IS THE CULTURE LIKE AT PUMA?

  • WHAT ARE THE LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS AT PUMA?

    The official business language is English which means that every employee speaks and understands it. However, for some functions people are also required to speak German as they work with partners outside of PUMA who might not speak English. Thus, English is needed, German might be required only for some specific roles. If you get a job and don’t need it but would still like to learn it, join the language courses, and learn a new language. 

  • IS IT POSSIBLE TO MOVE WITHIN PUMA TO OTHER FUNCTIONS OR LOCATIONS?

    There are many job opportunities within PUMA which you can explore. People often think of growth as linear and vertical, but that isn’t always the case. A horizontal career move is made when a person moves sideways from one job to another, to gain the skills, experience and knowledge required to progress their upwards career path in the future.   • I AM CURRENTLY NOT WORKING IN THE SPORTS OR FASHION INDUSTRY, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO BECOME PART OF THE PUMAFAM. MAY I STILL APPLY FOR A JOB?

    Many openings at PUMA require previous experience in the Sports or Fashion industry. However, there are still a lot of jobs which don’t. When you click on an opening you’ll find “Your Mission” and “Your Talent” which translates into tasks and requirements. Please go through the details to see if your profiles matches our expectations. ALL ABOUT RECRUITMENT

  • HOW IS THE RECRUITING PROCESS ORGANIZED?

    In the first step, the Hiring Managers themselves shortlist the candidates. Once this is done, the candidates are invited to a first MS Teams call to meet the Manager. If it's a match from both sides, the candidate will be invited for a 2nd interview which can be virtually or onsite in the PUMA officeSometimes, candidates are asked to prepare a case study which they present during the 2nd interview. After the 2nd round, the Managers and the respective P&O representatives carefully take a decision of whom to offer the position and call the candidate.

  • HOW LONG WILL THE RECRUITING PROCESS BE?

    This depends on different factors such as level, function, location etc. We try to be #Forever.Faster. but would ask you for some patience after you sent your application as we receive a high number of applications from candidates from all over the world which we carefully check to short-list the biggest talents.

  • HOW CAN I STAND UP FROM THE CROWD TO MAKE IT TO AN INTERVIEW?

    Be you! Show us who you are in a well-structured CV which is appealing and easy to read. Add your work experience, your education and everything you've learned and what you are proud of. Some functions (such as Design) may require additional documents such as portfolios, so feel free to upload those as well.  If you bring the requirements we are looking for, we will invite you to an interview.

  • ARE THERE ANY FULLY REMOTE JOB OPPORTUNITIES?

    We offer a hybrid working model which allows our employees to work remotely on some days of the week. Our PUMAs regularly come to the office to be with their teams and to enjoy the amazing working culture which can be experienced best in the office. 

  • I APPLIED FOR A POSITION AND HAVEN'T HEARD BACK YET. WHAT SHALL I DO?

    The Hiring Manager(s) will carefully screen your CV and decide on the next steps. Either you’ll get a message that you will not be selected for the interview stage, or you’ll be contacted by P&O who invites you for a 1st call. Please be patient – you will hear from us soon. If you would like to check on the status of your application, please log in to your candidate portal/candidate home account.

  • WHAT IS MEANT BY "EVERGREEN" POSITION?

    An Evergreen Position is a job which we regularly need talents for. Currently, there is no opening which means that we may not hire anyone for that role. However, it’s posted to meet people and see who could be an interesting fit for a future opening once there is a new upcoming position. Thus, if you decide to apply, please don’t expect be hired but look forward to meeting either a P&O member or the Hiring Manager to build a first connection.

  • IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR JOB APPLICATIONS?

    As long as our job postings are online on our career page, you're free to apply. We do not accept any further applications for the respective posting once the posting has been removed. This means that there is no official deadline but be Forever.Faster. if you decide to apply for a job as it might be taken offline soon!

  • DOES PUMA HAVE SPECIFIC TIMELINES WHEN JOBS OR INTERNSHIPS ARE POSTED?

    We post our job openings throughout the year and are not limited to timelines. Thus, it’s worth keeping an eye on the career page every now and then if you wanted to see new positions.

  • WHICH LANGUAGE SHOULD I USE TO APPLY?

    Please use English – we are an international company, after all. In case you are unsure, you may also use the language of the job posting.

  • CAN I APPLY TO MULTIPLE ROLES?

    Absolutely – feel free to apply to the roles that align with both your interests and skillset. However, please ensure that you only apply to roles where you are convinced to be the best fit due to your skills and abilities. When taking a decision whom to invite to a first chat, you tell us convince us in your application why to invite you – so invest the time to sit down and tailor your application to the respective job opening rather than copying and pasting one generic application to several job postings. 

  • WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD NOT BE MISSED ON A PROFESSIONAL CV?

    Besides your contact details, it’s important for us to see your work experience and education. Also, we are interested in learning more about your interest, skills, and abilities. Remember, we would like to understand why you applied for the position and why you are the perfect fit for the respective vacancy. Keep your CV clean but complete and appealing at the same time.

  • I'D LOVE TO BECOME PART OF THE PUMAFAM BUT HAVEN'T SEEN A VACANCY WHICH FITS MY BACKGROUND. CAN I STILL APPLY AND SEND AN UNSOLICITED APPLICATION?

  • DO I NEED A BACHELOR'S OR MASTER'S DEGREE TO WORK AT PUMA?

    It depends on the job you apply to. Some jobs require a university degree, others require a different education. Please check the individual job opening where you’ll find the answers in the second part called “Your Talent”. 

  • WHAT COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS ARE OFFERED BY PUMA?

    It varies between the different countries, positions, and some other factors. Generally spoken we can confirm that PUMA offers an attractive package to employees with a competitive salary and various benefits.   • HOW DO I RESCIND MY APPLICATION?

    Please return to our application system and sign in on your individual account. There, you'll find a button labelled “Candidate Withdraw”. Clicking it will rescind your chosen application

  • WHAT IF I RECEIVE A REJECTION? IS THERE ANY WAY TO REQUEST FEEDBACK?

    Due to the high number of applications coming in, we sadly cannot provide individualized feedback for all applicants in the first round. 

  • WHICH DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED WHEN APPLYING FOR A JOB?

    Please provide us with a resume (preferably in PDF or Word format), references and motivation letter. Some functions may require additional documents such as portfolios, so feel free to upload those as well.

  • HOW DO I CHANGE MY APPLICATION IN CASE I WANTED TO ADD/REMOVE OR CHANGE ANYTHING?

    After submitting your application, you cannot add further changes. Please make sure that you check all your documents thoroughly before submitting them.

  • IS IT POSSIBLE TO APPLY FOR SEVERAL POSITIONS AT THE SAME TIME?

    Yes, we encourage that you apply to any position where your skills and background are a match.

  • MAY I APPLY (AGAIN) FOR A DIFFERENT POSITION AFTER HAVING RECEIVED A REJECTION FOR ANOTHER ONE?

    You may apply for several roles at the same time. If you get a rejection for a role, you may still apply for other roles. 

  • WHAT IS THE INTERVIEW DRESS CODE?

    Even during our interviews, we're casual. There's no need to dress up all fancy. Just keep in mind that we love our PUMA brand so if you want to leave a positive impression, keep product from other sports brand at home.

  • I HAVE BEEN INVITED FOR AN INTERVIEW, HOWEVER, I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND ON THE PROPOSED DATE. CAN IT BE RESCHEDULED?

    Of course. Please contact the person who invited you as soon as possible to let us know that you are not able to attend the interview. We will reach back to you with new time suggestions and would reschedule the meeting.

  • DO I NEED A GERMAN OR EUROPEAN PASSPORT TO WORK AT PUMA GERMANY?

    Of course, due to legal conditions, we need to make sure that every employee is allowed to work in the country where the position is located. We always encourage international talents to apply and hire people from all over the world provided that there is a valid working permit. Please keep in mind that different countries may have different visa and residency restrictions.

  • DOES PUMA SUPPORT IN THE RELOCATION PROCESS?

    Yes, we do. Once we kicked-off the hiring process, you’ll be connected with our relocation agency who will allocate a go-to-person for you who will support you during the entire relocation journey.

SPECIFIC QUESTIONS ABOUT INTERNSHIPS

  • DOES PUMA OFFER INTERNSHIPS TO GRADUATES AND ALUMNI?

    PUMA offers internships to enrolled students only. Thus, we can only take students into consideration for an internship who are currently enrolled at university. If you graduated you might be interested in entry level positions such as Junior Manager, Manager or Assistant roles.

  • IS THERE AN MBA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT PUMA?

    As of now, we do not run programs for graduates or MBAs. However, if you already bring some work experience with you, you might want to look for Junior or Manager roles which can be found on the website. Those require previous experience and are usually part-time or full-time positions which mostly run for an unlimited period of time

BENEFITS AND SUPPORT

  • DOES PUMA SPONSOR VISA?

    Yes, we do. People who will be offered a job at PUMA will be supported with the visa application process. The visa is paid by PUMA and people will have their "own" go-to-person at PUMA who takes care of the administration during the hiring and onboarding process.

  • WHAT ARE THE BASIC PARAMETERS OF THE WORK CONTRACT?

    Every single work contract is different as we hire people on different level, for different functions and in different locations. Thus, we would recommend you to ask this question in the interview where you will be given all important insights into those P&O related topics. We’re happy to share more insights once it is getting more concrete. 

  • HOW CAN I APPLY TO POSITIONS IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES?

    You can apply to any position worldwide exactly the same way: Go to the careers website, browse through the job openings and/or set your preferred filter. If you see an interesting position which matches your background, click on apply now and submit your application by creating a candidate profile. 

  • WHAT DO I NEED TO CONSIDER WHEN APPLYING FOR A POSITION OUTSIDE OF THE HEADQUARTERS MEANING OUTSIDE OF GERMANY?

    First of all, it’s your choice where you would like to work and live which is an important decision. Thus, we’d recommend you to make yourself familiar with the local market and do some research before applying to a job in a foreign country. At PUMA, we hire people from all over the world regardless of their nationality. Please note that a work visa might be needed so please inform yourself about that and address it in the interview as well.
