MANCHESTER

Manchester isn’t just a city - it’s a global icon for music and sport. Known as the birthplace of legendary bands like Oasis and The Smiths, its vibrant music scene continues to inspire. For fans of pop culture, the Northern Quarter offers street art, indie shops, and a creative buzz that’s uniquely Mancunian. Sport is in Manchester’s DNA. Home to two football giants, Manchester City and Manchester United. Beyond football, you’ll find cricket at Emirates Old Trafford and cycling at the National Cycling Centre. Foodies can indulge in everything from traditional pubs to global flavours in Chinatown and the trendy Spinningfields district.

CASTLEFORD

Our main distribution site is also based in the North of England, in Castleford which is nestled in the heart of West Yorkshire. Castleford, with a rich history that dates back to the Roman times, offers a unique blend of historical significance and modern attractions. PUMA moved into this newly built location in 2019 which boasts a 22,800 sqm warehouse with 1,200 sqm office space. With a team of 111 employees based at this location covering our Sales Support, Credit Control, Operations, HR, IT and Logistic Teams, it is always a busy yet fun place to be.

NATURE

The UK has some of the most beautiful natural beauty in Europe, ranging from sandy beaches in the Southwest and Northwest and dramatic mountain and hill trails in Yorkshire, Cumbria and Scotland. The United Kingdom has some wonderful UNESCO sites, The Jurassic Coast, 95-mile stretch of coastline known for its stunning rock formations and fossils. Additionally, located in Northern Ireland the Giants Causeway, a geological wonder formed of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns.

SPORT EVENTS

Sport is a way of life in the UK and has a long history attached to it as we host some amazing events from Wimbledon, The FA Cup and The Ashes, and we are also a nation of Rugby Fanatics - from Union to League. We also have some more regional less commonly known events like Cheese Rolling, Tin Bath Racing and Hurling.

FESTIVALS & MUSIC

Annually the UK hosts some amazing music and theatrical festivals, with the most famous being The Glastonbury Festival. Featuring a diverse lineup of various pop, hip-hop and electric artists, but it also provides other activities across the 5-days such as comedy, theatre and circus performances. Other Festivals include Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Reading & Leeds Festival as well as the Latitude Festival. One event which has increasing attracting is the infamous Notting Hill Carnival, which is Europe largest street festival celebrating Caribbean culture featuring performances in music, dancing and colourful costumes and an abundance of authentic street food.

We are sprinting ahead in the UK retail scene with 14 high-energy stores scattered across the nation, each delivering a bold mix of performance, streetwear, and iconic Sportstyle fashion. Our stores are located in some great spaces including Wembley, Cheshire Oaks, Carnaby Street and York with our grand new flagship on Oxford Street.

FLAGSHIP STORE

The flagship store offers a unique shopping experience from a prime location on Oxford Street, spanning nearly 24,000 sq. ft across more than three floors. It features exciting product and experience zones, including customization areas, localized London merchandise, and — as always with PUMA — a strong focus on performance and sport style.
