Your mission
Primary business partner and close collaboration with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) as well as the VP FP&A to build acumen and drive proactive forward looking financial planning processes to safeguard the realization of operational, tactical and strategic financial ambitions
Critically evaluate and challenge the profitability and effectiveness of PUMA's sales channels
Establish key sales metrics and benchmarks to rigorously measure sales channel specific performance management (e.g. order book, trade terms, cost ratios, etc.)
Enforce consistent reporting policies and practices across the global, regional, and Channel organizations
Continuously review and improve system and data transparency and infrastructure to build enhanced transparency for business management
Provide operational, tactical as well as strategic guidance to commercial functions as well as analyze regional and channel sales teams
Ensure financial decisions strictly adhere to PUMA’s guidelines and policies, and proactively inform stakeholders about potential risks
Drive key financial processes, including performance reviews, planning, forecasting, and year-end closing
Responsible for all aspects of the performance management and professional development of the team, including recruitment, development plans, providing constructive feedback, appraisals and exit processes
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture by actively engaging team members, promoting open communication, and implementing initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and well-being
Compliance with and implementation of legal and operational requirements regarding occupational health and safety within your own area of responsibility.
Your talent
Educational background of business studies (MBA a plus) ideally with focus of Accounting & Finance
10+ years of related professional experience in similar industry (sport & fashion is a plus)
Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic business partner to C‑suite leadership
End-to-end Thinking to convert operational, tactical and strategic related discussions and transparency
Providing leadership and guidance to a diverse, cross-functional team
Leadership competencies to lead even in ambiguous situations
Affinity and capabilities to work with reporting systems (SAP a plus) and to further develop them
Ability to work under pressure and to produce top notch deliverables.
