Your Talent
- Graduate in textiles / Clothing or technical institute is preferable.
- Strong computer skills (Knowledge on CAD is an advantage)
- 3-5 years of experience, major in active wear or performance sportswear
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of pattern, garment construction and grading, with an in-depth understanding of different fabric shapes and fits.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- A team player with a positive attitude and an organized and proactive way of working
Your Mission
- Conduct technical evaluations of patterns, grading, fitting, and workmanship for various sample types.
- Manage fitting samples (Proto, sealing, and size set approval) within development and OPD calendar time frames.
- Oversee measurement charts in the PUMA system, perform grading checks, and provide final approval before bulk production.
- Check the print placements and approve for bulk.
- Review technical packs for accuracy and completeness, offering feedback and enhancements to product developers.
- Plan and track product development schedules to meet timely completion based on the development calendar.
- Prioritize workload to achieve critical business deadlines.
- Prepare seasonal sample evaluation data.
- Provide technical support during on-site meetings with factories.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and quality teams, periodically visiting factories to assess sampling performance.
- Attend risk assessment meetings at each garment development stage.
- Enter fitting comments in the PUMA system within specified deadlines.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of production processes, fabric properties, and costing.
- Ensure on-time approval of seal samples and achieve a high seal sample hit rate.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments (Product Development, PLM, Designers, QC) and external stakeholders (Factories, Pattern Software & Mannequin Companies when necessary).
- Support and educate suppliers to maintain consistent quality and fit.
- Be open to overseas travel.
