Your mission
As the Global DTC - BI Product Owner, you will drive the evolution of Business Intelligence for our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels, ensuring data-driven decision-making across global Retail and E-commerce teams. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, transforming data into actionable insights and fostering a culture of data literacy.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Own the business responsibility for Global Retail/Ecom Business Intelligence and ensure continuous improvement of data quality, reporting & consistent user adoption
Define the BI roadmap for the global DTC departments in terms of new data points, metrics and potential use cases
Participate in designing and testing data points / metrics and ensure projects are delivered on time as part of a scrum team
Continue requirements development of existing DTC tabular cubes
Collect and digest diverse data sets to clearly translate them into cohesive and clear stories within reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Retail Ops, Ecom Marketing, Local countries) to identify BI opportunities that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements in DTC channels.
Champion data governance (glossaries, relationships and reports libraries.
Lead user training and change management initiatives to drive adoption of new BI tools, dashboards, and self-service analytics capabilities across global teams.
Your talent
Graduated from Business Administration, (Sports) Management or a similar field of studies
Experienced in DTC, data strategy consulting or data preferred
Knowledge of Jira/ Atlassian for project management
High proficiency in MS Office (in particular PowerBi and Excel)
Ability to work with SQL
Knowledge of Databricks and GCP
Google Analytics knowledge is a plus
Ability to comfortably communicate with and present to senior management
Eagerness to learn, think out-of-the box, and work in cross-functional teams
Very good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
