Your Talent

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in retail buying/merchandising, merchandise planning, or product management within the sports and sports-lifestyle industry.
  • Deep understanding of seasonal merchandise buying and product cycle management.
  • Profound knowledge of buying and merchandise planning KPIs.
  • High product affinity and awareness of current trends and competitors in the global sports and sports-lifestyle market.
  • Strong proficiency in numerical analysis and retail acumen.
  • Strong self-organization and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix organization.
  • Collaborative work ethic and respectful communication style.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a hands-on approach to daily business tasks.
  • Preferably, a university degree in a related field (business, fashion, or a similar background).
  • Business language is English in a very international team; other languages are a plus.

Your Mission

Define Outlet Product Strategy:

  • Define the product strategy for Outlets, optimizing commerciality and profitability through the definition of a global FOC core range.
  • Align the FOC product strategy with Business Units and the Central Regional Creation Center (RCC).
  • Provide guidance and direction to local Retail Merchandising teams for Outlet assortments.

Optimize Outlet Merchandising Process:

  • Establish standards and procedures to drive the Outlet business, defining clear roles and responsibilities, setting detailed timelines for all parties involved, and ensuring adherence.
  • Partner with Business Process Managers to upgrade tools and systems used.

Drive Regional Improvements:

  • Identify key market trends impacting the Outlet business and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Act as the go-to person for all Outlet-related market needs (both in-season and future seasons).

Deliver KPIs and Reporting:

  • Introduce relevant KPIs and set clear objectives to measure and track Outlet performance.
  • Elevate reporting standards for the Outlet business to share insights with key stakeholders.

Key Stakeholder Management:

  • Represent Retail Merchandising for the global Outlet Business at all cross-functional meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Units to coordinate the transition of products into Outlets within contractual and legal frameworks.
