Your Talent

  • College / University degree or equivalent in Design (Textile, Product, Fashion or related)
  • At least 5 years of experience within the Footwear Design Industry
  • Competency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Keyshot is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills in English
  • Excellent organization and management skills
  • Passion for the PUMA brand & products and what it stands for

Your Mission

  • Design, explore and implement footwear material concepts, innovations and technologies across Sportstyle and Performance categories.
  • Partner with cross functional innovation team and BU partners to drive material innovations.
  • Drive the conversation for key material innovations.
  • Generate and present strong product stories, designs and mood boards.
  • Apply material concepts to 3D visualizations
  • Create design tech packs for product creation at a factory standard.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure materials meet the testing and usage standards for PUMA.
  • Constantly gather knowledge of material suppliers, material production, and technical material achievability for footwear.
  • Work closely with suppliers to both source, brief and develop new materials in line with the creative direction and commercial needs
  • Be on top of material trends, application and cycles.
  • Provide design trend analysis presentations
  • Travel for development trips, and trade shows.
