Your mission
- Support the operational framework of European Merchandising by helping maintain reliable processes, tools, and systems that ensure smooth daily operations and enable future scalability.
- Assist in the seasonal demand‑planning process from Line Freeze through Pre‑Order forecasting by preparing data, updating information, and ensuring alignment with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Help monitor and update regional demand plans throughout the season by gathering inputs from Merchandising, Sales, Clusters, and Areas and ensuring changes are correctly reflected in the system.
- Support master data and system accuracy by maintaining correct style lifecycle mapping and updating planning attributes that enable consistent forecasting.
- Help coordinate workflows between Merchandising and Marketing by ensuring accurate product information and supporting timely product‑readiness handovers.
- Identify smaller opportunities to improve tools or processes that enhance data visibility, increase planning efficiency, or simplify daily operations.
- Assist with KPI reporting and dashboard updates by maintaining data accuracy and preparing basic insights that support team reviews and decision‑making.
- Collaborate with Merchandising Directors and Marketing Planning teams by preparing documents, supporting workflow steps, and helping maintain cross‑functional alignment.
- Support the creation and maintenance of the seasonal regional product catalogue by ensuring information is updated correctly and aligned with merchandising requirements.
- Assist in coordinating regional SMU/MFO/Commercial Deal SMU processes by maintaining governance templates, ensuring clear communication across teams, and supporting prioritization and documentation.
Your talent
A relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Fashion, Economics, or a related field forms the educational foundation for the role.
Early experience through internships or working‑student roles in merchandising, product management, retail, buying, sales, planning, or marketing is a strong plus.
Candidates should have a basic understanding of product lifecycle management, assortments, consumer trends, and the fashion or sporting‑goods industry.
Strong analytical and technical skills are required, including proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots), basic data analysis, and comfort using digital product‑management tools.
The role requires attention to detail and accuracy when handling product data, pricing, item masters, and forecasting inputs, as well as the ability to learn ERP, PLM, PIM, or forecasting systems.
Effective cross‑functional collaboration skills are important for working with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Global Product, and Merchandising Operations.
Clear and concise communication is essential, including the ability to summarize information, prepare documentation, and proactively seek clarity.
Curiosity, a proactive “can‑do” mindset, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are key behavioral competencies for success.
