Your Mission

Collaboration and Operations:

  • Foster collaborative relationships within the People & Organisation Team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage day-to-day People & Organisation responsibilities for both wholesale and DTC/retail teams, including administrative duties.
  • Ensure timely handling of issues and queries while maintaining high-quality work standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records (paper, digital, and electronic) in compliance with GDPR guidelines.
  • Keep job descriptions up to date, signed and securely stored on Workday.
  • Facilitate staff changes, recruitment approvals, and offer confirmations.
  • Ensure all employee contracts and paperwork are completed and signed, including reference checks and eligibility verification.
  • Monitor sickness and absence levels, following company procedures and updating Workday accordingly, whilst working closely with management to address any issues that may arise.
  • Develop strong relationships across the business, fostering trust and professionalism.
  • Identify opportunities for digitalisation and automation within daily responsibilities.
  • Stay informed about employment law developments.
  • Have a good understanding of Time and Attendance and Payroll, including the ability to run payroll using Equator.

Employee Engagement and Retention:

  • Visit distribution sites and stores regularly to build positive relationships with teams.
  • Identify trends, best practices, and areas for improvement to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Oversee skill development and continuous learning initiatives.

Performance Management:

  • Guide managers and employees through the performance management process, ensuring clarity and actionable plans.
  • Provide support to resolve disciplinary and staff-related issues.

Onboarding, Offboarding & Recruitment

  • Train hiring managers on the recruitment process, including the training video and survey, ensuring up-to-date information.
  • Assist with recruiting tasks, such as vetting candidates, conducting interviews, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records in Workday.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities.
  • Keep the People & Organisation Induction Handbook and policy/procedure documents current.
  • Manage the offboarding process, including the return of PUMA items and completion of exit interviews

P&O Platforms & Systems

  • Establish effective communication channels with employees not on puma.com email.
  • Design and maintain user-friendly YOU@PUMA notices.
  • Ensure Workday remains accurate and up to date.
  • Update Egencia with new starter and leaver information.
  • Manage details related to Benefits@Puma, including an understanding of salary sacrifice arrangements.
  • Optimise PUMAShow to display relevant and current information for employee engagement.

Additional Projects (Supported by Other People & Organisation Team Members)

  • Collaborate with the Manager of People Development to create and deliver the PUMA MOVES program.
  • Promote engagement within the Influencer group.
  • Organise and implement celebrations at each location.
  • Lead the community engagement project, coordinating with each location.
  • Recognise employee milestones, such as Long Service Awards, promptly.
  • Support student programs (STEP, Talent Tap, work experience) at each of our locations.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR “How to” videos.
