Your Talent
- Five years or more experience in a retail merchandise planning & inventory management role, with preference in footwear, apparel and accessories within a smaller retail environment.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking ability
- Ability to interpret sales data and trends
- Proficiency in retail math and inventory management principles
- Advanced Excel Skills with the ability to plan in Excel
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced retail environment.
- Experience in merchandise planning software will be an added advantage.
- A passion for retail and an eye for market trends and consumer preferences.
Your Mission
The Retail Merchandise Planner is responsible for the merchandise plans of both full-price and outlet stores, creating assortment plans that align with the merchandising strategy and financial goals for each store type. You will analyze, forecast and monitor, and will collaborate and work closely with the buying and allocation team to meet the customer demand.
You will enjoy participation in meetings with cross-functional teams, staying informed about trends, competitors, and consumer preferences, and will continuously seek ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
You will love data, not only relying on systems, but have a willingness to work with data within Excel.
