Your Talent
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology or relevant studied.
Professional: Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, preferably within the retail or FMCG. Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and relevant regulatory requirements is an added advantage.
IT Skills: PowerPoint & Excel
Language Skills: Proficient in English and the local language (Bahasa Malaysia)
Your Mission
Senior Executive, People & Organization - Retail will be responsible for managing day-to-day human resources activities for the retail business unit in Malaysia. This role reports directly to the Teamhead, People Connection & Attraction SEA, and works closely with the Head of Retail, Area Managers, Store Managers, and the broader retail team across all stores in Malaysia.
Task 1: Recruitment
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for retail positions to ensure stores are fully staffed with qualified talent. Regular visits to PUMA Malaysia stores to proactively identify potential candidates through on-ground networking within retail environments.
Task 2: People & Organization Operations
Manage the full spectrum of HR operations for the retail business unit, covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle — including onboarding, transfers, performance management, offboarding, exit interviews and etc. Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data in the Workday system in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
Task 3: Employee Engagement
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture, including employee surveys, social recognition programs, and other experience-focused activities. Analyze feedback and develop targeted action plans in response to employee voice insights.
Task 4: Industrial Relations
Manage industrial relations matters and provide advice and support to the Head of Retail, Area Managers, Store Managers, and team members in addressing and resolving employee relations issues.
Task 5: Reporting
Support the monthly HR reports, including compensation and benefits overview for retail business unit, manpower planning updates, and attrition analysis to support strategic decision-making.
