Your Talent

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role within the sports or fashion industry.
  • Results oriented with strong PUMA and marketplace product knowledge.
  • Experience in handling and delivering results across multiple key accounts.
  • Industry knowledge and understanding of markets, consumers, customers and their commercial needs.
  • Proactive approach with high energy, drive and determination.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal communication skills & presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Packages skills – highly proficient Excel & Powerpoint skills required.
  • Experience of building account sales plans, assortment plans and roadmaps inline with Go-To-Market expectations.
  • Understanding of retail financial metrics.
  • A good level of planning and organising skills including forecasting.
  • Outstanding analytical and numerical skills.
  • Able to interact with others in a lively and demanding sales environment. Proven results as a team player.
  • Outgoing, open positive personality with a strong desire to learn and develop.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Commercially aware with an active interest in Sports and Fashion.

Your Mission

Role Overview: As a Key Account Executive at Puma, you will be responsible for managing and growing key wholesale accounts. You will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive market share growth. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the sports and fashion industry.

Achieve set sales targets on an annual basis – this is to be accomplished by utilising a variety of business models and techniques and would include growing market share in key categories to deliver growth.  To continually analyse sales and margin performance versus the targets set.

Develop & Maintain mutually profitable account relationships – interfacing with all relevant account personnel to drive growth for both Puma and the account.  Product presentations, marketing plans, orderbook management and retail visits to be conducted on a regular basis.

Negotiation skillset - Negotiate pricing & terms of business with key accounts.

Drive the desirability of the brand – in line with the GTM and product distribution policy and channels.  Manage the quality and quantity within the account portfolio, setting clear goals to allow for diverse assortment plans.

Strong alignment with internal functions – ensure consistent and focused internal communication at all times to ensure the smooth running of the account base.  Relevant departments to include (although not limited to): Merchandising, Marketing, Sales Support, Finance/Credit Control and Operations.

Sell In/Sell Out – to be compelling and inspiring and to consistently strive for sell in excellence utilising all the sales tools provided.  Continually monitor and analyse customer sell thru and effectively use to Puma’s advantage.
